Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and grooming services for our furry clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for animals and a desire to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Responsibilities: - Bathe, brush, and groom pets according to specific instructions and breed standards - Handle dogs and other animals with care and compassion - Assist with animal restraint during grooming procedures - Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment - Provide basic grooming services such as nail trims and ear cleaning - Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals in the grooming area - Maintain a clean and organized work environment Skills: - Strong dog handling skills, including the ability to safely control and manage dogs of all sizes and temperaments - Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for pet owners - Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including proper restraint methods - Familiarity with veterinary practices and procedures is a plus - Experience in animal care, such as working in a kennel or as a veterinary technician, is preferred - Basic knowledge of pet grooming techniques and equipment - Passion for working with animals, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding At our company, we offer competitive pay rates, opportunities for career growth, and a supportive work environment.
