The successful candidate will be responsible for administering employee payroll and benefits programs to ensure timely and accurate payment of compensation and benefits. Key Responsibilities
Process employee payroll, including accurately calculating employee pay, overtime, bonuses, and other compensation, and ensuring that all taxes and other deductions are properly deducted.
Facilitate employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, 401k and other fringe benefits.
Ensure that employee payroll and benefits records are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Employee’s first stop for inquiries regarding payroll, benefits and other HR questions, and work with internal departments, external vendors, and providers to resolve any issues.
Develop and implement payroll and benefits policies and procedures that ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Stay up to date on changes in payroll and benefits laws and regulations and ensure that our organization is in compliance.
Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis related to payroll and benefits and provide recommendations for improvement.
Provide other administrative support to the HR department as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2-4years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits laws and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other payroll and benefits software, specifically ADP Workforce Now
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in a multi-site distributed workforce
