Beavercreek City Schools is seeking a Career Tech Education Teacher - Cybersecurity and Information Technology (NEW) at Beavercreek High School

CONTENT SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Work experience in a computer science/information technology field.

2. Familiarity with programming languages and certifications (i.e. Security , CompTIA, HTML, C , Java, etc) and networking.

3. General knowledge of Cybersecurity and Programming. 

4. Familiarity with PC workstation hardware, Windows operating systems, software applications, and a Windows network environment.

5. Supervises and plans out-of-class industry-related experiences, including competitions.

Certification/Licensure: REQUIRED LICENSURE

All applicants must possess a valid Ohio Certificate/License in the appropriate areas. You must have 1 of the 2 following licenses to teach this position:

The starting salary from the approved teacher salary schedule ranges from:

Bachelor’s Degree: $45,087 to $68,456 based on prior teacher verification, experience, and training 

Master’s Degree: $50,917 to $83,258 based on prior teacher verification, experience and training.

Included in the contract is a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as paid Personal Leave and Sick Leave.
