The Director of Supply Chain heads the Supply Chain department and is responsible for the strategic and tactical execution of all Supply Chain activities. Supply Chain includes Purchasing, Receiving, Warehouse, Shipping, Logistics, Inventory Control, and Scheduling. The Director is responsible for development of KPIs that drive performance and evaluation based on those metrics. The position ensures the alignment of department execution that support the company goals and strategic initiatives.
As head of the department, the position sets the standard for their team to create a culture of safety and quality. The position creates or approves processes that improve consistency and drive training and development of the team.
