BASIC and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

IT Intern will be 60% interacting with residents, in a training/schooling/support manner. The remainder of the job will be 40% working on IT software support, hardware installs, IT security support, troubleshooting and maintenance for staff and residents. This position monitors, maintains all IT systems including telecommunications, hardware, software peripherals, VOIP hardware and office equipment. Provides Apple OS support and Apple hardware support (iPhone, iPad and books). Ability to create detailed documentation of information technology processes and procedure. The IT Intern will handle various assignments relates to the function of support and will be responsible for other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS:

Technical knowledge of telecommunications, networks and operating system. Strong knowledge and experience supporting Apple OS and all Apple products. Strong experience supporting Windows Operating Systems and Office 365. Communicates effectively and professionally with all residents, staff, vendors and guest. Ability to listen. Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent documentation sills. Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
