Outpatient Navigator
Beaumont Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)
A new, 144-bed behavioral health facility – Beaumont Behavioral Hospital will provide a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24-hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility will provide a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Outpatient Navigator assists with the overall internal growth of the outpatient programs. The Navigator identifies, educates, and assists with facilitating individuals from the inpatient unit into the outpatient programs. The Outpatient Navigator also works to improve the overall patient flow and access to outpatient care.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health area, social work, or marketing or related field is required.
Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in a mental health setting required; experience in an inpatient psychiatric facility/unit is preferred.
This person should be energetic, enthusiastic, a cheerleader to encourage patients to step-down into outpatient programming at BBH.
