Beaufort Orthopaedic Sports & Spine is Hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer Near Bluffton, SC

Position Starts June 3, 2024

Type: Certified Athletic Trainer— Cross Schools

Employer: Beaufort Orthopedic Sport and Spine (BOSS Orthopaedics)

Location: Bluffton, South Carolina (Beaufort County) Preferred Education: Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred

Salary: Starting $50K based on experience. Full benefits package (Medical/Dental/PTO/401K/Cont. Ed)

Job Description/Employer Information: The Athletic Trainer would provide Athletic Training to Bridges Preparatory School in Beaufort, SC. Job duties include covering all home Varsity, JV and Middle School level practices/events, traveling to away Varsity Football games (Which they currently do not field at this time), managing a budget, and keeping track of supply needs throughout the year. The Athletic Trainer would also direct and supervise all activities related to the student athletes including, but not limited to, managing injuries, concussions, treatment plans, Physician and Physical Therapy referrals, medical records, insurance, and other assigned duties. The Athletic Trainer will be the liaison between Bridges Preparatory School and the Beaufort Orthopedics Sport and Spine Sports Medicine Team. Must have strong communication, relationship building and time management skills. This position has no formal clinical responsibilities.

Requirements: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, NATABOC (certified and in good standing), South Carolina certified or eligible, and current CPR certification.
