Description

This individual will assist the Practice Manager with the day-to-day administration of operations which include operations for three service lines including Urgent Care, Occupational Health and Employee Health at our Beaufort Memorial Express Care and Occupational Health clinic. This position will have supervisory responsibilities for both front and back office staff as well as oversight of the Workers Compensation program at BMH. Primary job duties will include assisting in the education of staff concerning job duties and implementing practice policies, planning, staffing, directing, overseeing the activities and operations of the practice. In addition, this individual will work with Quality and Safety, Infection Prevention and Human Resources to ensure BMH maintains a robust work comp program ensuring injured/sick staff members receive any required medical attention for illness or injury that occurred on the job and then returning them safely back to work. Additional responsibilities include assisting with staff schedules, vacation time and assignment of daily responsibilities for staff and participate in the on-call weekend rotation for the above mentioned service lines. This position will report to the Practice Operations Administrator who will work with the assistant manager to ensure that the needs and expectations of all service lines are met and that the practice is achieving their goals as outlined on their department scorecard.
***BMH Physician Partners has Express Care & Occupational Health practices across Beaufort County, this position will fill in and assist other Express Care Managers as needed which may not be located at this position's home location.
Position Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Health Care Administration, Finance, Management, or related field. Experience may be acceptable in place of a degree.

Experience:

• Any combination of education and experience that results in at least 1 year of workers' compensation claims management preferred.
