Position Summary:

This position assists in the delivery of primary health care services and patient care management.

Essential Duties:

• Assist provider in preparing patient for examination, treatment and with minor surgical procedures.
• May be required to schedule referral appointments and follow up on missed appointments.
• Distribute patient educational information as directed by the provider.
• Qualified candidates should also have at least 6 months experience with electronic health record, phlebotomy, vitals, EKG's nebulizer treatments, immunizations, IV's referral tracking and assisting with clinical procedures.

Qualifications:

• One year nursing experience in Pediatrics, Adult Medicine or OB/GYN is preferred. Qualified nurses must be willing to work and train at any of our eight locations in Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton counties,
• Strong interpersonal and computer skills are required. Previous clinical experience in a medical office (back-end duties), handling patient records electronically and knowledge of HIPAA regulation are also required to effectively perform in this position.

Education

• Qualified candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and must have or be eligible for a SC license.
