Beaufort Family Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Beaufort, SC

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team at Beaufort Family Dentistry!

*** Competitive pay based on experience and skills *** SIGN ON BONUS for qualified candidates!

Hours: Monday-Thursday; Some Fridays

The ideal Dental Assistant is energetic, can make any patient feel comfortable, and is focused on working as a team to provide the best patient care. Must have an positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for treatment ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and material needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
  • Enter detailed and accurate treatment chart notes
  • Schedule appointments and utilize treatment reports to maintain the schedule when needed
  • Manage clinical inventory and order dental supplies within budget

Skills

  • Proven experience as dental assistant
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and dental procedures
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • X-ray certification required.
  • DANB Certification and Eaglesoft experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
