Beau Rivage Golf & Resort is currently looking for a new employee to join the golf course and grounds maintenance staff. This is a non-supervisory position engaged in construction, repair, or maintenance of golf course and facilities. Duties include operating various types of heavy equipment, facilitating directives for the care of the golf course, equipment and facilities. Must be a team player and a motivated hard working individual. Landscaping experience is preferred, but comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Operate a weed eater, mowers, tractors, trencher, vehicles and equipment as necessary; utilize a variety of hand and power tools in landscape maintenance and facilities maintenance work and assist in the routine maintenance of such equipment; Maintain and prune trees; maintain area surrounding trees; plant new trees and shrubs; Prepare and maintain golf course facilities; clean restrooms and pick up litter around golf course and medians; Perform semi-skilled and skilled tasks involving the maintenance, construction and repair of golf course; Perform manual labor including lifting heavy weights, stooping, bending and twisting; Perform other such duties as may be assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of uses and purpose of general construction tools and equipment; safe work practices. Ability to perform unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in a variety of construction and maintenance activities; perform heavy manual labor; learn to operate of variety construction and maintenance equipment; understand and carry out oral and written directions; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
