Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers, in addition to short-order meals prepared by the kitchen and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve drinks following standard recipes
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations when necessary
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
- Maintain a clean work area by cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Check customers' identification to confirm legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell additional products when appropriate

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Basic math skills for handling payments and verifying change
- Familiarity with cash register systems
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Understanding of common and popular drink trends
- Sales skills for promoting specials or new drinks
- Experience in catering or hospitality industry
- Knowledge of retail math for inventory management
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
