Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Class 8 truck and trailer Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients in various locations. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Duties:
- Perform general fleet maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Troubleshoot various electrical, mechanical, emissions issues and repairing.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for equipment maintenance and repair.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete tasks
- Provide excellent customer service and support
-Paperwork organization inlcuding invoices, PM forms, receipts, technician stories.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Field Technician or similar role
- 2 years minumum expierence with class 8 trucks and trailers, including emmisions and electrical systems, engines, and drivetrains.
- 1 year minimum expierience as a field technician.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and backround check.
- Ability to work independently and travel to client sites as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
