**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Plumbing Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various technical areas and a passion for educating others.

**Duties:**

• Develop and deliver instructional lessons aligned with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) plumbing curriculum, covering topics such as piping systems, fixtures, fittings, and plumbing codes.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and simulations, to engage students and facilitate learning.
• Demonstrate proper plumbing techniques, tools, and equipment usage, emphasizing safety protocols and industry best practices.
• Assess student comprehension and skill development through quizzes, exams, practical assessments, and performance evaluations, providing timely feedback to support student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to review and revise curriculum materials, develop lesson plans, and integrate new instructional technologies and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in plumbing technology and techniques.

**Qualifications:**

• Extensive experience working as a plumber or plumbing contractor, with a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems, installations, and repairs.
• Familiarity with the NCCER plumbing curriculum and other relevant instructional resources preferred, but not required.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex plumbing concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Previous experience teaching or training plumbing apprentices preferred.
• Plumbing certification or licensure required.
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity, equity, and respect for all students.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
