Host/Emcee Positions

The Beat Fleet team is looking to add four new talented Team Members: three hosts (MC). Please let us know if you would like to join one of the fastest-growing businesses in the Sacramento region and learn how to engage and interact with an audience using our approach.

Some of the qualifications that are necessary are:

• Interested and knowledgeable in public speaking
• Minimum of 2 years performing as an event host or a minimum of 10 events is preferred
• Comfortable and confident to speak in front of a large group
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Great communication, organizational, and relationship building skills
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Must have a laptop
• Must have transportation

Responsibilities for the Event Host (MC):

Administration: 40%

• Communicate and build relationships with clients and event vendors
• Detailed coordination and planning with the setup crew and/or DJ
• Design and develop entertainment itineraries with clients

Performance: 40%

• Present and deliver events professionally; Increased base-pay for Spanish speaker
• Facilitate the occasion’s events
• Interact and engage the event’s guests with an adaptable and entertaining personality

Production: 20%

• Safely load and unload audio/lighting equipment to an event’s location and placement
• Accurately and adequately set up and breakdown audio/lighting equipment
• Keep equipment and setup clean and taped neatly

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 24 per week
