If you know you’re highly skilled clinically with proven assisting skills this might be a fantastic opportunity for you to welcome a change. You would be working with a team of 3 additional assistants, 1 sterile tech – one doctor and four administrative team members.
A minimum of 2 years dental assisting experience is required with strengths in:
· Digital and intra oral camera photography
· Dentrix computer data patient entry
· Cone beam and panorex
· Medit digital scanners
· Digital x-ray sensors
· Nomad x-ray machines

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
Expected hours: 28 – 34 per week
Schedule:
· Day shift - 7:45 - 5:30 M-W, Thur 7:45 - 2:30, 1 Fri a month 7:45 - 2:30
· No nights
· No weekends
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Take and develop dental X-rays in accordance with established protocols
- Maintain strict infection control measures, including sterilizing instruments and disinfecting treatment rooms
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist by passing instruments and materials as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's appointment system
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic systems such as Epic
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed, including answering phone calls and greeting patients
