As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are currently hiring a part-time Kennel Assistant to support our daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within our organization. While experience is strongly preferred, we welcome candidates who are eager to gain valuable experience in the field. Shifts will range from 2-3 days/week 10 hour shifts. Full time available to the right candidate that shows strong growth and development.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the daily care and maintenance of the facility.

- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to established schedules and procedures.

- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment.

- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the supervising staff.

- Provide basic stocking and inventory monitoring as needed.

- Assist with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and client communication.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of animals and staff.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with animals is required. Experience within a veterinary facility strongly preferred.

- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

- Flexible schedule. No weekends or overnight required.

- Passion for animal welfare and a genuine desire to provide quality care.
