Job Summary: As a Drive-Thru Coffee Shop Barista at Beans Up Coffee, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for crafting and serving delicious coffee beverages while prioritizing speed, quality, and customer experience. Your role will involve taking orders, preparing beverages, and delivering exceptional service to ensure our customers' satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking their orders accurately, and answering any questions they may have.

Efficiently prepare a variety of coffee beverages, including espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and brewed coffee, adhering to quality standards and following recipes consistently.

Operate coffee brewing and grinding equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness at all times.

Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system, handling cash and card payments with attention to detail.

Prepare and serve food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and snacks, maintaining product freshness and presentation.

Keep the drive-thru area clean and organized, ensuring that supplies are stocked, and restocking as needed.

Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following food safety and hygiene standards, including proper hand washing and sanitization procedures.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, supporting each other and maintaining a positive work environment.

Continuously strive to enhance your coffee knowledge and stay up-to-date with new industry trends and brewing techniques.

Requirements:

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.

Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing correct change.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 30 pounds.

A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
