The Payroll Specialist position is responsible for assisting with the accurate and timely completion of bi-weekly payroll and submission to ADP for processing. Must be effective at multitasking, organizing, and detailed oriented. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and email are required. Honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Process employee deductions, check requests and garnishments.

· Assist with the preparation of bi-weekly payroll.

· Verifies hourly employee PTO eligibility according to company policy.

· Provides excellent payroll related customer service to all employees.

· Assist with annual financial, payroll and 401K audits.

· Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

· Complete and distribute payroll analytics and reports as requested.

Education & Qualifications:

· Associate degree in a finance related field, preferred.

· Minimum of 3 - 5 years previous payroll-related experience.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Microsoft Excel

· Preferred knowledge of ADP Work Force Now and Enhanced Time

· Knowledge of employee deductions.

· Ability to prepare business correspondence with accuracy.

· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Capable of working well with all levels of the organization.

· Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing the English language required
