The position works with the supply chain team and internal teams on the day-to-day purchasing, managing inventory and providing timely updates to everyone involved.

Requirements

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers as well as suppliers.
• Make informed decisions regarding stock levels and product pricing.
• Communicates with vendors and internal teams regarding potential delays and works to develop solutions.
• Work diligently to verify that all items required for production will arrive in sufficient timeliness to meet production schedules.
• Get weekly updates from Suppliers on open PO’s ship and arrival dates to ensure the system has the most accurate and up-to-date information.
• Bring ideas to management and be able to implement necessary process improvements.
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
• 1-2 years procurement experience, highly preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is highly desired.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word and industry standard purchase order software platform.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills and attention to detail required.
• Possess traits of honesty, integrity, creativity and flexibility.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with all levels of management.
• A ‘can-do’ attitude with a strong team player ethic is essential
