We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a remote position, but candidates do have to be local to the Portland/Vancouver area. The Staff Accountant will work with other members of the General Ledger team to complete the monthly financial statement process including: preparing and recording general journal entries, performing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, maintaining the fixed asset register, preparing trend analysis, and monthly financial statement reports.
The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office programs, exceptional analytical, time management, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate financial information clearly and in lay terms as well as maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable safety/OSHA procedures and requirements. In addition, we would like at least 2 years of general ledger accounting experience.
Workdays will be Monday - Friday. 8am - 5pm. The position is fully remote.
Starting pay range, based on experience: $31.76- $42.96

Qualifications:

• BS in Finance, Accounting or related field (preferred) and/or equivalent work experience
• 2 years' experience in accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of general ledger accounting experience
