Job Description:

Our client, based in Kent, Washington, is seeking a highly skilled Systems Verification & Validation Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirements development, verification, validation, and system integration, with a focus on spacecraft development. As part of this role, the candidate will utilize Model Based Engineering (MBE or MBSE) tools, particularly Catia or Cameo, to drive efficient and effective system design and development processes. The candidate should be familiar with Agile methodologies, and have experience with tools such as Confluence and Jira for system and software design aspects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage system requirements, verification, and validation activities.
• Conduct trade studies and risk management to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Lead hardware/software integration efforts for spacecraft development projects
• Utilize Model Based Engineering (MBE or MBSE) tools, particularly Catia or Cameo, for system design and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of system design with project goals and objectives.
• Participate in Agile development processes, utilizing tools such as Confluence and Jira for efficient project management.
• Support system testing and evaluation activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.

Skills Required:

• Demonstrated experience with requirements development, verification, validation, and system integration.
• Proficiency in Model Based Engineering (MBE or MBSE) tools, particularly Catia or Cameo
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Confluence and Jira
• Experience in spacecraft development, build, and test
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Top-Secret Clearance/SCI/Special Access Program (SAP) Access Required
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering roles
