One of our clients in Los Angeles, California is looking for a Senior Principal Unreal Engine Developer with the following skills and experience:

This is not a game developer role.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Development of unreal engines
2) Develop plug ins and build custom applications for unreal engine
3) Must know C and multi threaded applications
4) 5-7 years of experience ideal.

Looking for an Unreal Engine developer to join THE multi-discipline team of developers, researchers, designers, and product managers to produce a new generation of applications for use in delivering world-class narrative experiences to our guests. You will play a key role in applying the latest technologies inbuilding applications and toolsets that streamline and enhance narrative creation, working quickly and adapting to changes as we form the future in this space. Responsibilities include developing plugins for Unreal Engine, both independently and in conjunction with contracted vendor

Responsibilities:

• Design and build custom applications on top of Unreal, integrating multiple components to create complete systems that will interact with Unreal scenes and objects.
• Serve as in-house Unreal expert, contributing to the success of others and raising the knowledge level for the team.
• Contribute creatively by proposing and developing POCs that provide solutions in our problem space.
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues, offering innovative solutions to enhance performance and stability.
• Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and technologies related to Unreal Engine, integrating them into our development process
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of code, workflows, and project progress

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Expert knowledge of working in Unreal Engine is a must.
• Proficiency in C .
• Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with version control systems for source code management.
• Experience working with multithreaded systems.
• Experience integrating Unreal with external services through HTTP requests and publish-subscribe messaging protocols (e.g., MQTT, AMPQ).*Ability to adapt and revise code quickly to meet tight deadlines.
• Proven history of problem-solving, adaptability, and innovation in addressing creative and technical challenges.
