Summary
Reports to the Director of Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab. Participates in the development of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Plan to ensure the quality and clinical effectiveness of the Program and the safety of each participant is complete. In addition, will implement fitness program of traditional cardio-pulmonary rehab within established operational policies and procedures. Assists with coordination of day-to-day operations by ensuring sufficient staff coverage for fitness area, special programs, events and classes.

Education and Experience
The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion bachelors degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or Physical Therapy required. Two years of Cardiac rehabilitation experience preferred. Clinical certification within one year of employment must be obtained in American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP), or AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP). Current certification in BCLS (CPR) required. Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Will need to obtain within 90 days of employment if not currently ACLS certified.
