Beaches Boutique and Main Street Skate is Hiring a Retail Sales Associate Near Brookings, OR
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and fulfilling their needs
- Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to customers
- Conduct sales transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle cash and process payments in accordance with company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging merchandise
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a POS system
- Knowledge of technical sales, such as wireless devices, is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
