Beach Cities Learning is looking for a Full-Time Behavior Technician for our location in San Gabriel.
Note: This is a 11-month position. The hourly rate starts at $18.00 per hour, with benefits.
It's perfect for the candidates with a background in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Sociology and Healthcare. This will be a great way to get into the field where you can use your theoretical knowledge and implement it in practice.
This position is also for candidates that are generally interested to work with children with special needs and want to make a difference in their lives.
Additionally, if you possess a Bachelors Degree in any field and pass your CBEST test you could also apply at CA Department of Education to become a Substitute Teacher.
Beach Cities Learning is an innovative non-public school program, which serves the educational needs of special education students between the ages of 6 to 22. Designed to provide a stimulating, supportive, academically challenging and therapeutic program for students struggling in the public school arena. We provide students with the tools needed to be successful in school and life.
Responsibilities:As a Behavior Technician, youll be a part of a school-based special education team.Youll provide assistance to the teacher in the implementation of all program components such as: Clinical Program, Instruction, Special Education Services and Physical Fitness. You will be supported by a mentor, veteran behavior technicians and an on-site administrator manager.
