JOB CODE: PART-TIME HEAD HOUSEKEEPER IN MONTECITO

MONTECITO, CA – A wonderful return BBN client is seeking to hire an experienced Head Housekeeper for their full-staffed home in Montecito. This family has 3 children in the home, 2 pet dogs, and has multiple staff in the home including a remote Executive Assistant. So, having a team mentality is crucial! Pay range for this position is a salary between $30-$40/hr., DOE for the right candidate, paid time off, and work cell phone. Start date is ASAP! The schedule is Monday's 9am-7pm and Friday's 9am-7pm.

Responsibilities: - Daily maintenance of a high level of cleanliness and order in the home- Laundry, ironing and care of fine linens- Household errands grocery, personal and gift shopping, dry cleaners, veterinary and grooming appointment- Organization of closets, linen, kitchen, extra storage spaces and home office- Occasionally pick up/drop off children at school or take to their afternoon school activities in their own car.- Maintain files on all household appliance manuals, maintenance schedules, vendor contracts, emergency numbers, etc.- Inventory of refrigerator and pantry items, household products, replenish items as needed- Inventory of crystal, silver, fine art and other valuables for household and insurance records- Coordinate in conjunction with EA regarding family movement- Assist with all events and hosting from small dinner parties to annual parties, all holiday celebrations, and family special occasions- Meal planning and food purchasing. Cooking for family as needed/wanted.- Support EA with packing for family travel- Maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information and mattersQualifications & Preferred

Requirements:

– Must Speak Spanish and clear English (most staff in the home speak Spanish)– Local candidates preferred and encouraged to apply– Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record– 3-5 years’ experience as a Housekeeper– Must be able to carry a vacuum up stairs and move patio furniture.– Exceptional leadership and motivation skills– Well versed in entertaining, hosting, fine dining & floor service– Culinary skills necessary– Discreet, responsible & collaborativeIf you’d like to work in a beautiful home for a really nice family and a great team… this is the job for you!!!!!!
