The Material Planner is responsible for establishing and executing a set manufacturing plan for one or more programs. Ensures material is forecasted, ordered, and available on time to meet the build plan. The planner is responsible for releasing work to the manufacturing floor for build, maintains ship dates and customer commitments while working with other support staff to execute the plan. The planner must monitor cost, quality, schedule of programs to meet the goals set by the business.

• Works closely with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Engineering and Programs, as well as other manufacturing functions.
• Identifies impacts and risks to the schedule based on material promise dates.
• Ownership of bill of materials, customer inventory, releasing material for purchase or production on time as well as cost of material/product.
• This person will be responsible for maintaining and statusing the health of multiple programs. Contacts include those both inside and outside of the business.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :

• Candidate should have bachelor's degree, or at least a high school diploma with at least 8 years of material planning experience and/or related experience.
• Material planning experience in Aerospace & Defense industry is strongly preferred but is not required.
• Must have extensive knowledge in material planning functions. Applies extensive expertise in a cross functional environment such as engineering and procurement.
• Must have MRP experience. (Oracle is preferred)
• Must be organized, an excellent communicator - serve as a consultant/spokesperson to organization on major matters.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in business related disciple.
• Experience with Oracle, PowerBI, Apex applications

Pay: $87,700.00 - $149,100.00 per year
