We are searching for a friendly, dependable, energetic and an experienced FULL TIME Medical Assistant for a busy Primary Care/Internal Medicine Practice in Denton, TX. In this role you will be responsible to perform procedures that are part of our Ancillary Services.

To be successful in this role, you have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. You should be able to work independently or with the team, and be able to motivate others. The position will be trained to perform all the ancillary services we offer, including insurance verification and billing for these services. The position hours are 8:00-5:00pm Monday-Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ability to learn and perform Ancillary Services, to include Allergy Testing and other procedures
· Ability to understand and explain benefits and results of the ancillary services
· Proactively identify patients who can benefit from Ancillary Services
· Collaborate with Medical Assistant's on clinic flow and Ancillary Services
· Scheduling patients for ancillary services
· Prepping for upcoming appointments, to include ensuring insurance verification is completed
· Getting referrals processed in a timely manner
· Follow provider documenting visits with the patient into the EMR as requested
· Understanding of diagnosis and CPT codes
· Completing appropriate paperwork and charts as required
