The Operations Manager of PSA BDP Uruguay is responsible for customs compliance, growth of business, development and profitability of the branch, in accordance with the annual business plan and budgets. The UYMVD office is willing to expand, and requires an experienced professional who can fully manage a freight forwarding / LLP, reporting directly to the AR & UY Director (based in ARBUE) and the regional Managing Director (based in BRSAO).

Essential Functions:

• Assumes accountability for:
  • Customs compliance/statements and best operational practices 
  • Customer service levels, business development and growth
  • Meeting/exceeding all corporate performance KPI’s
  • Accurate billing practices
• Responsible for profitability through:
  • Budget monitoring
  • Cash flow analysis
  • Performance monitoring
  • Market/customer analysis
  • Preparation of quotations for new/existing business 
• Responsible for all regulatory issues such as classifications, port entry and problem resolution.
• Provide sales support as necessary.
• Manages Partnership / Agent relationship development
• Performs Bid/RFI/RFQ cost/benefit analysis & price authorization.
