ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Communicate operational situations to management
• Maintain communication with steamship and/or airline agents as to status of shipments
• Maintain communication and relationships with customers
• Compile the necessary documentation and submit entry to US Customs in a timely manner
• Dispatch freight once Customs cleared
• Open, invoice and close files.
• Manage and supervise daily work

• Minimum of 1 year industry experience
• Knowledge of Transportation industry, Brokerage, Import/Global transportation/Regulatory and business development
• Standard hours and additional time as necessary
• Must maintain professional attitude and appearance at all times
• A college degree is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Good communication and organization skills and a strong attention to detail are required.
• The ability to work on a team and leadership experience is desired.
• Candidate should have the ability to learn various computer programs.
