Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Splicer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fiber /coax splicing to ensure efficient operation of telecommunication systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform fiber/coax splicing to connect telecommunication cables
- Operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks and forklifts for installation and maintenance tasks
- Work on high voltage systems ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain network infrastructure
- Utilize bucket trucks for aerial operations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fiber/coax splicing and telecommunications industry
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including bucket trucks and forklifts
- Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety procedures
- Familiarity with WAN technologies and IT infrastructure
