BD Parata is currently seeking an Construction Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities :
Carry out pre-assembly, building, and installation of Parata conveyors & dispensers.
Installation of pneumatic devices, RFID readers and sensors throughout conveyor system.
Carry out commissioning of electronic / electrical systems and structured cabling installation works.
Complete final installation checks and testing of equipment.
Review of schematics / drawings, documentation and logistics to support installation activities.
Assist / Suggest design engineering with improvements to components and / or assemblies.
Ensure work is completed in accordance with quality requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Ability to work with design engineers, project managers & healthcare personnel to identify equipment layout, operations, and workflow
Ability to use hand & power tools, read schematics, and assemble components
Well-organized with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience and Educational Requirements :
Bachelors or Associates degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences. Minimum of 3 to 6 years experience performing installations of complex automation systems;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background in installation of automation systems in production environments desired.
- High mechanical aptitude
- Hands-on experience building and assembling components per blueprints
- Large scale builds with complex systems
- Ability to read schematics & drawings required
- May assist with 3rd party skilled trades at build site
- Electro-Mechanical knowledge preferred
- PLC I / O & low voltage DC knowledge preferred
