What you will do

Advise and assist the Government in analyzing and assessing software (SW) and hardware (HW) technical requirements and other related artifacts and provide input and recommendations on impacts to cost, schedule, and performance. Contractor will assist in translating SW requirements to estimates via currently accepted methodologies [Function Point Analysis, Simple Function Points, Automated Function Points, SLOC sizing, Agile metrics (Story Points, User Stories)].

Recommend innovative and industry best approaches and technologies pertaining to:
• Sizing SW requirements to estimate effort and costs of traditional architectures, CLOUD, DevOps, and Agile;
• Estimating SW efforts that involve COTS configuration;
• Estimating SW efforts that involve integration activities;
• Estimating maintenance activities for SW; and
• Estimating testing activities for SW. • Enterprise Information Technologies (Data, Storage, Processing, Facilities Sustainment);
• CLOUD technologies; and • Data Centers (Construction, Sustainment).

What you will need

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar
  scope, type and complexity is required.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
