Job Title:
Fire Alarm Technician/Startup Specialist
Job Description:
Due to our exciting growth, we are looking to add a motivated, driven Fire Alarm technician who works well under minimal supervision to our team. Self-starter and good organizational skills are a must. This individual will be responsible for programming, coordinating, and overseeing the successful completion of a wide variety of Fire Alarm installations ranging from simple sprinkler monitoring systems and apartment applications, all the way up to mission critical data centers, sophisticated network projects, and high rise applications. Candidate must be able to work well with installers, be able to effectively communicate, and coordinate with the installation teams.
Responsibilities:
· Review and interpret Fire Alarm shop drawings
· Perform programming and fire alarm startup services
· Assist in pre-testing and commissioning efforts with the installers
· Complete all necessary documentation for project completion
· Engage in owner training at the time of project completion
· Maintain accurate records of all project-related content
· Sustain a willingness and desire to always learn new things
Qualifications:
· State of Ohio Fire Alarm License
· Minimum 5 Years experience in the Fire Alarm industry preferred
· Experience with NOTIFIER Fire Alarm systems is preferred
· Good understanding of low-voltage electronics, and “general curiosity” to always learn more
· Valid drivers license with clean driving record
