We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Specialist with our WIN Services program at BCRC. This is a community integration program that supports individuals as they work towards independent living and employment.
Employment and Community Supports consists of services designed to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving the self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in home and community-based settings. Services are provided at a staff to client ratio of 1:1, or in a small group opportunity that has a staff to client ratio of greater than 1:1 and less than 1:3 ratios, depending on the level of individualized support and individual chooses.
Qualifications: Master or Bachelor level degree required in: Special Education, Psychology, Health Rehabilitation, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Occupation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, Criminal Justice ore other social service related field.

As a Program Specialist you will provide case management, job coaching and habilitation functions at BCRC facility and community work sites as participants seek to develop life skills that foster independence and explore employment. This includes overseeing program planning, goal planning, determining client disciplinary actions, initiating behavior plans, and acting as a liaison between community agencies, parents and employers. Job coaching duties include: providing skill training to clients, learning and working a variety of community jobs, maintaining accurate records, writing task/job analysis, and promoting worker independence and self-help skills.

BCRC, Inc. (Beaver County Rehabilitation Center) is a non-profit organization working with clients with disabilities assisting them in overcoming vocational barriers and living lives that are more independent through community activities, volunteerism, and job seeking/acquisition.
We provide supports that assist those with challenges to employment, recovery, and independent living. Our agency predominately serves those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and mental illness, with services spanning the ages of youth to elderly.
Numerous grant projects throughout the past several years have also allowed us to serve those with addiction, those transitioning to the community after incarceration, families who’ve experienced domestic violence, veterans, and individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. For these individuals, we offer, vocational training, employment opportunities, employment support, psychiatric rehabilitation, peer support and in home and community based supports.
