Job Duties: The Teacher creates, maintains, and manages a safe, attractive, warm, and challenging learning environment for young children and incorporates developmentally appropriate learning activities which meet the needs of the group as well as those of individual children, toward achieving School Readiness; promotes family engagement, advocating for parent inclusion as an ongoing part of their child’s educational experience and recognizing them as their child’s first teacher; provides leadership and direction for classroom staff in order to develop a team approach for a smooth delivery of services to children and families.
