Business Analyst
About the role:We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role measures and reports on the results and performance of the business including financial, operational, KPI and SLA achievement. Resourcing & workload metrics, data mapping (with purchaser's data team), activity & forecasting as well as QC reporting are part of this role. In addition, supplier M&E spend categories and vendor reporting, BU level dashboards and benchmarking intelligence are required.
As a Business Analyst, you will:
* Analyze, interpret, and tell a story from client financial, operational, and performance data entered in the meetings management tool that provides fact-based recommendations to drive SMM program enhancements, reduce costs, manage staffing levels (i.e., forecasting and workload metrics), streamline process, and increase savings.
* Be responsible for SMM program level data and reporting including data mapping and data from other suppliers. BCD is not responsible for other suppliers' data integrity, but BA will provide ongoing Quality Control reporting to main point of contact at Third-Party Suppliers to correct their data errors.
* Make recommendations for process improvements through data analysis.
* Monitor performance of data input to ensure accuracy and data completeness.
* Ensure accurate and appropriate reporting is implemented to support SLA and KPI reporting.
* Keep job-related reporting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) up-to-date and accurate.
* Assist account leadership team with on-demand reporting requests and analytical needs.
* Monitor data integrity of BCD data through QC report (i.e., supplier M&E spend categories and vendors) and identify trends for correction and training.
* Develop and maintain the report production schedule and BU level dashboards.
* Work closely with client's Data Analyst to include, but not limited to, on demand reporting support.
* Test the systems of record for consistency and properly escalate issues for a quick resolution; ensure that all proper parties are informed of issues.
* Benchmark data against industry, regional, and global standards to assist in developing roadmaps.
* Participate in training of newly hired employees regarding data capture, entry and governance.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Business Analyst is between $60,000 - $75,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
