BCBST BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Mgr Financial Performance and Analysis

Manage staff and processes necessary to produce Enterprise performance reports, financial analysis and preparation of financial presentations for the CFO. Oversees the forecasting of enterprise key performance metrics to include Risk Based Capital, GAAP and Statutory reserves and net worth requirements. Job Description: Job Responsibilities Maintaining an effective system of internal controls over financial reporting Providing and presenting financial information to various levels of management; preparing and submitting financial information to external entities. Design and administer effective processes for costing and reporting profitability for government lines of business, such as FEP, that are in compliance with contractual terms and cost accounting standards. Design and administer effective processes for the identification and quantification of Quality Improvement Activities (QIA) that are in compliance with federal regulations. Oversee and evaluate the activities of the reporting and analysis teams, and provide guidance for their professional development. Job Qualifications Education Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field or equivalent work experience Experience 8 years - Weighted equivalent of applicable work experience - 1 year experience in public accounting = 2 years of applicable work experience 4 years - Weighted equivalent of leadership / management experience - 1 year experience in public accounting = 2 years of applicable work experience Skills\Certifications Ability to quickly take complex technical subjects and distill them into user-friendly presentations and digital communications. Ability to understand the steps involved in the development, design, configuration, testing and implementation of new systems and/or processes Proven leadership abilities that promote growth and development of employees Proficient oral and written communication skills Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects Positive attitude, self-driven, engaging, proactive, results drive Thorough knowledge of cost accounting theory and advanced understanding of financial/accounting theory Job Specific Requirements: - Certification in at least one of the following preferred: CPA, CMA or FPAC - Experience with Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and/or Medical Loss Ratio Quality Improvement (QI) federal regulations preferred Preferred Skills: Number of Openings Available: 1 Worker Type: Employee Company: BCBST BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Inc.
