PREAMBLE 

Boston College High School is a Catholic, Jesuit, independent school serving approximately 1400 young men across grades 7-12 from various communities across Massachusetts. ROLE PURPOSE 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full-time teaching position including 4 high school Spanish courses. 
• Commitment to collaborating with colleagues in curriculum design and teaching practices. 
• Weekly student mentoring in our house program.  

Requirements

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Fluency in Spanish.
• Master’s Degree in Spanish preferred, but not required.
• Experience teaching high school students.
• A commitment to providing an immersive language experience in the classroom.
• Strong and sincere engagement in professional development in both pedagogy and content area.
• High standards and expectations for students.
• Proficiency with educational technology and learning management systems.
• Knowledge and commitment around diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
