Responsibilities:

Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their BBQ-related inquiries, including seasoning recommendations, grill and smoker selection, and troubleshooting common issues.

Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our product range, including various types of seasonings, smokers, grills, accessories, and outdoor cooking equipment. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new product releases.

Sales and Upselling: Effectively communicate the features and benefits of different products to customers and actively engage in upselling opportunities to enhance their overall BBQ experience.

Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and functionalities of our grills, smokers, and other BBQ equipment. Share tips and techniques for achieving optimal results.

Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, restocking shelves, and organizing merchandise displays to ensure a clean and organized shopping environment.

Problem Solving: Provide troubleshooting assistance to customers facing difficulties with their BBQ equipment. Offer solutions or escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members.

Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations, efficient customer service, and a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Passion for outdoor BBQ and a strong knowledge of different seasoning techniques, smokers, grills, and related equipment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and educate customers effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and sales transactions.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings, as required.

Note: Prior experience in a retail or customer service role, particularly in a BBQ or outdoor cooking environment, is a plus, but not mandatory.
