Using a combination of industry knowledge, market trends and organization specific needs to negotiate contracts with favorable terms, conditions, pricing and promotions. This position will work directly with, and be the point of contact for, our trade vendors. Collaborating with suppliers to ensure their products and services align with our business goals. The Vendor Relations Coordinator will also collaborate with our Pricebook, Marketing and Retail teams and with our individual retail locations.

Tasks associated with the Vendor Relations Coordinator:

• Identifying and selecting vendors
• Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships
• Negotiating contracts and pricing agreements
• Tracking vendor deliverables and service level agreements
• Identifying and eliminating potential risks associated with vendors
• Developing and implementing vendor performance metrics
• Lead all promotional activities and track performance
• Billing vendors for agreed upon promotions, track payment and follow-through
• Build and support vendor partnerships to support the marketing team
• Take an active role in the programing of promotions with the Pricebook team to ensure accuracy and transparency

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Solid negotiation skills along with the knowledge of the wholesale/retail space and market trends. Must be a collaborator that also enjoys collaboration. Having the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively is a must.
