The successful candidate will have

• At least one year of experience in a fast-paced medical office.
• Excellent computer and telephone skills.
• Experience using electronic medical records.
• A high degree of accuracy with insurance verification and data entry.
• Ob/gyn experience and/or Athena EMR experience is not required, but beneficial.
• Reliable transportation and enthusiasm about working in different office locations (Springfield, South Hadley, or Longmeadow).

General job responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

• Checking patients in and out for their appointments.
• Collecting copayments and balances.
• Registering new patients.
• Scheduling routine and follow up visits for patients in person and on the phone.
• Following established front desk and appointment booking workflows.
