Job Summary:
Bayside Volkswagen is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead and manage our service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry and exceptional leadership skills to oversee a team of technicians and service advisors. This is a full-time, management role with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department
- Manage and lead a team of service advisors and technicians
- Ensure smooth and efficient workflow in the service department
- Monitor and track technician productivity and efficiency
- Develop and implement strategies to increase service department revenue and profitability
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and handle any escalated customer concerns
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturer representatives
- Hire, train, and mentor new service department employees
- Create and maintain departmental budgets
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proven track record of improving service department profitability and customer satisfaction
- Proficient in computer programs and systems related to service operations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college education preferred
