Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Manager / Superintendent to oversee daily operations of our residential roofing projects. The Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed safely on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment on each assigned project
- Oversee subcontractor’s quality of work, including supervising the completion of work (no temporary work is permitted), inspecting tie-ins and returns, maintaining correct company image on all job sites (including apparel), and enforcing housekeeping at the job site
- Monitor project progress, provide updates, and meet time deadlines
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Site Management:
- Conduct thorough pre-damage, city, and manufacturer inspections for all assigned projects and document all details
- Work with the assigned Project Manager to ensure Job Progress reports are completed as required by the project
- Responsible for onsite communication with GC’s and city inspectors and daily communication and updates with project managers and the Director of Quality Control
- Maintain daily inventory of materials, wood log reporting, and company equipment and provide required pictures and videos of the project’s progress
- Responsible for company equipment maintenance and validating that the correct supplies are on hand
- Oversee crews to ensure proper usage and maintenance of company equipment
- Enforce housekeeping at the job site.
Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential or commercial roofing
- Valid FL Roofing Contractor license and/or prior experience as a Roofing Manager preferred (will pay extra for a qualifier)
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Professionalism and high ethical standards befitting a Manager and team leader
- Excellent verbal and written communication; organized, detailed and thorough
- Proficient using software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and construction-related packages
