BASIC FUNCTIONThe Security and Application Support Analyst provides overall SAP support and interfaces between users, AMS, SAP, and third-party application providers to ensure system availability and effective user experience. This position requires a broad understanding of the SAP S4 HANA landscape and serves as the backup for the Application Manager. This position is responsible for ongoing ‘SAP S/4 HANA Rise Private Edition’ implementation project and subsequent production support. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Security administration- Support account creation and maintenance, role development, authorization management in SAP landscape - Write functional specifications for security requirements, collaborating with IT functional and technical teams and the business.- Supporting and performing SAP security support for upgrades, testing cycles and new system go-live.- Performing daily monitoring and oversight to ensure security compliance and audit readiness.- Monitor and secure the Prod Environment for Security violations.- Maintain Security process/procedures up to date.- Create and Manage SAP Security transports.- Maintain Role / Plant /Position matrix.- Involvement in the build phase of SAP Application Security roles for future Deployments- Ensure proper implementation of Company delegation of authority within SAP.- System troubleshooting- Liaise between end users and AMS provider.- Liaise between AMS provider and SAP.- Liaise between SAP and third-party providers for interface support.- Ongoing production support- Follow up on user tickets to ensure timely resolution and escalate issues as needed.- Monitor AMS provider service levels and escalate issues as needed.- Support SAP initial implementation, subsequent rollout projects, and maintenance activities across multiple functional and business areas.- Participate in special projects as they relate to SAP Application Security (Yr. end activities, System upgrades, etc.) when needed.- Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, Cyber Security or Business. - Experience in SAP Security Administration and GRC tools in a cloud environment, understanding the complexities that come with cloud, and can effectively communicate cloud security design/architecture ideas to technical as well as non-technical client stakeholders. - Experience in Security implementation and maintenance, to include minor enhancements as well as support pack/version upgrades. - Extensive hands-on experience with GRC master data creation and maintenance, performing risk analysis and remediation activities, batch job monitoring, audit & compliance support activities (user management controls, access certification, etc.). - Understanding of NIST, SOX, SOD, and SAP IT General Computer Controls, how these compliance requirements impact security, and provide solutions to address them.- Working knowledge in overall Application Support including SAP Functional, Technical and SAP Interfaces. - Proficiency in Technical Documentation and Visio Flow charting tools.- Experience in designing, defining, modifying, and documenting new SAP Security roles/profiles for new and improved business functionality ensuring the highest level of security.- Experience in supporting audit facing off with both internal and external auditors to ensure that Security area in all in-scope SAP systems is audit compliant. - Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills; and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions. - High level of energy and enthusiasm with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.- Have worked on a cross-functional team; is aware of business priorities and organizational dynamics.- Ability to work with teams, act independently and as part of a team.- Open-minded to new perspectives or ideas or unusual solutions when appropriate- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.- Strong verbal and written communication skills. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- Experience in Chemical or Manufacturing sites.- Minimum 7 years of related professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years directly with SAP Security Administration.- Experience in MS Azure, Sharepoint, MS Office and MS Teams.- Experience in working with BTP, ALM, IAS, CI-DS, SAC, and other Cloud areas.
