Baymont Inn is seeking qualified candidates for the housekeeping department as Room Attendants.

Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained. Clean and maintain all guest rooms and public areas in impeccable condition to achieve Hotel Group’s high standards of quality. Assure cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas as needed.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

• Thoroughly clean bathrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents, by extending arms over head to reach all areas above. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Throughly make all beds by replacing bedsheets, blankets, pillowcases and mattress pads as required.
• Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.
• Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
• Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Make sure all closets and linen chutes are locked at all times.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Hotel Housekeeping or General cleaning experience and will train qualified applicants

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
