Plans and implements appropriate recreation activities for patients in accordance with guidelines set by the organization, hospital and the profession. Responsible for the provision of therapeutic recreation intervention for an assigned case load. Ensures all patients are oriented to recreation therapy and provides campus wide leisure, social and divergent programs. Servs as an educator to patients on community resources.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Baccalaureate Degree in Therapeutic Recreation required.
2. Current national certification from NCTRC as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required.
3. Should have certified experience in a medical setting.
