Baylor Careers is Hiring a TIP Curriculum Developer - Part Time Near Waco, TX

What We’re Looking For

The Curriculum Developer will support the mission and vision of Baylor University through work directly supporting the TIP program.

This position is temporary with possibility of extension.

A Graduate level degree in content area being taught or graduate degree in education field with significant coursework and/or experience in content area are required. One year of relevant work experience is required. Three years of relevant work experience is preferred.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in delivering course content in person or through the web. 
  • Create online course content, troubleshoot problems, and record metrics about usage. 
  • Work with employers, students, and teachers to identify needed technical information and pilot new materials. 
  • Develop and update detailed course syllabi and outlines, including resources and materials.
  • Plays a key role in Implementing projects and programs in the function. 
  • Acts as a resource to managers and employees in the organization. 
  • Will work throughout the year as needed
  • Create content for instruction in field of study
    Complete all required trainings and job-specific assignments prior to working with students
  • Engage students in the content by utilizing best educational practices 
  • Assist students in identifying and understanding their talents and college/career goals
  • Actively supervise students to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Adhere to and enforce all safety and risk management policies
  • Collaborate with Center leadership team to resolve any student disciplinary issues or concerns in an appropriate manner that aligns with the Center’s mission and policies
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff 
  • Complete all tasks required for effectively closing the assignment (submitting student evaluations, returning supplies that belong to Baylor, reporting any property damage that occurred during the activity, etc.)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
