Job Summary:

The Plant Biotechnology Transformation Team in St. Louis is looking for a dedicated individual to contribute to the crucial task of providing transgenic crops for research and development purposes. The ideal candidate will be driven, enthusiastic, and ready to support the R&D pipeline through various plant tissue culture activities.

Responsibilities:

- Perform plant tissue culture tasks including inoculation with bacteria, sterile tissue transfer, transfer of plants to soil, and data collection.

- Provide lab logistics support such as autoclaving, preparation of lab supplies, and other related tasks.

- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, cellular biology, biotechnology, or a related field.

- Prior experience working in a laboratory setting is highly preferred.

- Strong attention to detail with database experience.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Experience with sterile techniques is advantageous.
